'Til Death Do Us Reap -Ch. 1-

I floated over the town, my black cape swirling around me in the nighttime breeze. The lit houses below looked like little fireflies, each blinking and coming alive in unrecognizable patterns. It was cold, and I shivered despite my thick clothing. No matter how many layers I packed, the chill always seeped though, causing involuntary spasms to echo throughout my body. My eyes flickered across street names, Madison, Leveaux, Decks, Ackerson; meaningless tags to label novelty roads in which the racecar baubles reside, where the dolls mingle, where the game’s pieces are played.
Finding the correct street, Pacific, I hovered out

School is insane... first two weeks, straight homework. How is a person supposed to live with hour upon hours of work? Child labor laws, you have accomplished nothing.

Well, it's not horrible. Annoying as hell, though? Yes.

But anyway, school keeps my hours full enough, while the other hours are... spent doing other things. [I'm so lazy]

In other news, my break has ended, although my writing schedule isn't as strict as opposed to the summer. For right now, at least adding a new sentence a day is good enough. Progress is being made, right?

I'm also working on a few poems, some charachter research, and a short story called, "The Desperate and The Indifferent". The thing most likely to be done the first is the short story, however I'll be editing that for a week, so the first thing I'll post (maybe) would be a poem or two. Characther research would be last. If you're lucky enough to see it.

on 'Tips...', and good luck with your novel. Making yourself write a page a day whether you feel like it or not is a great approach, as it not editing excessively until you're finished.

No problem. And thanks! I just want to get it finished, even if it sucks by the end. You can always change and edit what you've got done, but that's impossible with something that's only in your head.
